Welcome to Room 1's Blog! We are a lively bunch of new entrants who are embarking on our lifelong learning journey at Hinuera School! Our class grows at different times of the year but we are starting off with three wonderful students! Creating Shapes

In maths we have been looking at regular 2D shapes such as square,triangle, rectangle, oblong, pentagon,hexagon and octagon. We decided to create our own Hinni Kid shapes using grid paper. We tried to make a shape we had never seen before.
